Characteristics

A medium coated nickel-Iron alloy type electrode, specially designed for welding of cast iron parts. It produces high ductile, machinable and crack resistance weld with same parent metal. Good bonding on difficult-to-weld cast iron. For oil soaked parts, undercutting is required.

Applications

Suitable for welding high phosphorous cast iron, grey cast iron, nodular cast iron, malleable cast iron, joining of dissimilar metals like mild steel, stainless steel with cast iron, rectification works in cast iron foundry, engine heads, pumps, casting impellers, rope drums, slab moulds etc.
