Characteristics
A medium-heavy coated rutile type electrode gives deposits air – hardening weld metal approximately 250 Brinell. The deposit shows the excellent toughness. Weld metal is machinable and also has excellent resistance to rolling and sliding friction. It has the advantages of using short arc and low current. A buffer layer of ADBASE (E 7016) is recommended if base metal has carbon content more than 0.25%.
Applications
Can be used for gears, shafts, hammers, pulleys, couplings, axels and ideal for rail joints and crossings.

- Welding Positions: F
- Re-drying Conditions : IF MOIST, REDRY AT 120°C FOR ½ HOURS
Characteristics
A medium coated rutile electrode depositing air hardening type carbon-chromium alloy weld metal for hard surfacing of carbon and low-alloy steels. Weld metal gives the hardness of 350 Brinell approximately. Ideally suited for the applications in which abrasion resistance is required. A buffer layer of ADBASE (E 7016) is recommended and preheating depends on material composition and thickness.
Applications
Used in steel mill rolls, break shoes, shear blades pulleys, for building up worn-out surface of tractor track links, sprockets, conveyor parts etc.

- Hardness: 560 - 600 BHN APPROXIMATELY ON 3 LAYER DEPOSIT
- Welding Positions: F
- Re-drying Conditions : IF MOIST, REDRY AT 150°C FOR 1 HOURS
Characteristics
A medium-heavy coated, hydrogen controlled basic type , iron powder electrode giving a smooth arc medium penetration and least spatter. The weld deposit is extremely hard, sound and non-machinable. The hydrogen controlled basic type coating enables the electrode to be used on high carbon and high sulphur steels, without inducing under bead cracking or porosity. The weld deposit is finished by grinding. It also depositing hard and non-machinable Chromium-Molybdenum Vanadium alloyed air hardening type weld deposit.
Applications
Cane cutting knives, bamboo chipper knives, disintegrator hammers, crane wheels, shear blades, metal cutting and forming tools, punches, dies drilling bits, oil expeller warns, crushers hammers, mine rails caterpillar breads, conveyor buckets and such other parts subject to friction and abrasion.
