Low Hydrogen Electrodes

ADBASE

Classifications
  • AWS A / SFA 5.1 : E 7016
  • IS 814 : E B 5426 H3 X

Characteristics

A basic coated low hydrogen electrode for welding of medium and high tensile structural steel and having good strength and ductility at sub-zero temperature. The deposit is excellent and of x-ray quality.

Applications

Welding of highly restrained joints and for non- machinable weld on cast iron. This electrode is also for depositing buffer layer before hard facing and for joining cast steel to mild steel.
