Characteristics

A medium-heavy coated rutile type of all position welding electrode, specially designed for radiographic quality weld .Low spatter, easy slag removal, adequate penetration and smooth bead are the special feature of this electrode. This electrode can be operated without maintaining an arc gap and suitable for vertical and overhead welding. Weld deposit possesses good chemical and mechanical properties.

Applications

Suitable for all types of mild steel structure, tank and vessels, general fabricator, vehicles, railway coaches, Wagons, Ship hull, Boilers, Pressure pipelines which cannot be welded from inside, construction equipments and joining steels like ASTM SA - 36 / SA 36M, A,B,C,D grades of SA-283/ SA 283 M, A,B,C grades of SA-285/SA 285 M, A,B grades of SA 414/SA 414 M.

Characteristics

A heavy coated rutile type for achieving weld of superior finish and radiographic quality. Gives low spatter and excellent self peeling slag. Striking and re-striking is excellent. It has very quiet and stable arc during welding performances with exceptionally clean and smooth bead.

Applications

Suitable for pressure vessels, boilers, locomotive fire boxes, bridges, auto frames, railway coaches and thin steel due to its droplet transfer and joining of steels like A, B, C grades SA 285/ SA 285 M, A,B grades of SA 414/ SA 414 M.
